Thank you to all of our members who attended the Portland Storytellers Guild’s 2014 Annual Meeting!! We were well fed and well informed of the PSG’s activities from both the past and the coming year. We look forward to kicking off our 2014-2015 season this September with the following events:
Friday, September 5 -Story Swap & Potluck – 6:30-8:30pm at McMenamin’s Kennedy School Community Room – All tellers and listeners welcome! You do not need to be a member of the Portland Storyteller’s Guild to attend. We gather and share potluck foods and then share stories (5-7 min.) in a safe and welcoming environment. Feedback will be given only upon request. You do not have to tell a story to fully enjoy the evening.
Saturday, September 13 – Storython Part I – 7:30-9:30pm at Hipbone Studio – 15 tellers – 5 minutes each – it will be a wild night! Every teller is given no more than 5 minutes. It takes work to craft a story so that it will really grab the audience, hopefully be a story everyone will remember, and have the whole story unfold in 5 minutes or less.
